Chicken Salad = Bomb.com

Today I had some time to experiment in the kitchen, which doesn't happen often with my crazy schedule. I decided I'd make myself a chicken salad sandwich because they're delicious and I was hungry.

Ingredients:
  1. Canned chicken
  2. Light mayonaise
  3. Cheddar cheese
  4. Celery
  5. Olives
  6. Craisins
Now I'll let the pictures do the talking....

Sorry about the ghetto pics, no time/energy to edit or watermark. These do the job though. Next time I'll put sprouts on my sandwich! But let me tell youuuu, this one was bomb.com. -K

Love yourself first.

I wasn't really planning on posting today but while I was playing on pinterest I came across some words that I feel like some of my closest family and friends need to hear and really take in, as I'm sure some of you do as well. Plus, who doesn't Love Lucy? -K

{Kaitlyn & Corey}

Happy 5 year anniversary Kaitlyn & Corey!

And Happy Valentine's Day world! This day makes my heart happy, who doesn't love LOVE?!

This Sunday I got to spend a few hours taking engagement photos for an amazing couple and today just happens to be their 5 year anniversary. They started dating when they were just 15 {2.14.07} and now they are engaged and planning their dream wedding, with the help of pinterest of course.

I have known Kaitlyn since she was 5 years only and best friends with my baby sister in kindergarten and it's a crazy thing to see someone grow up from a sweet little girl into a gorgeous young lady right in front of your eyes. Her handsome fiance Corey is currently in the fire academy and hopes to follow in his father and brother's footsteps and become a firefighter. Kaitlyn and Corey are so in love and so, SO perfect for each other and I can't wait to see what else God has in store for their life together.

I want to share in photos how sweet these two are together and how much fun we had during this shoot...

DIY LOVE Banner

I had an awesome weekend shooting some amazing people this weekend. So busy, but so rewarding. While getting ready for my Sunday shoots {two engagements} I remembered that is was Valentine's weekend so I def needed something Valentine-y. I spent MAYBE 10 minutes making this LOVE banner...

All you need is Scrapbook paper, twine, a sharpie, and a hot glue gun. I simply cut out the triangles, drew the letters as neatly as I could and hot glued them to the twine. SO EASY! I'll probably make one for each season.

Loving the way this little project turned out! Stay posted, this week I will recap my super fun photo shoots from yesterday! -K

Endeavor Photography Foundation.

#18. Start a charity.

I am beyond excited for this announcement. I am starting a charity and doing something that I LOVE while helping people that truly deserve a blessing in their life. I will be offering FREE photo shoots to families who have been effected by cancer, mental disease or illness,  medical tragedies, etc. I will be taking nominations and requests at Endeavorphotography@gmail.com. I will carefully review each and every request and my goal is to do at least 1 session a month, if not more. Having professional photos done are the least of a families worries when they have many more imporatnt things to worry about and pay for, such as medical bills, therapy, & traveling expenses. Yet it is still important to capture memories through photos and my goal is to give them photos that they will cherish forever without worrying about the expence.

If you know anybody that you would like to nominate please don't hesitate to email! I can't wait to get started! I am still working out a few details but as things progress you will be the first to know.

This is me doing something different. What will you do? -K

Let's do this.

It's not every Monday morning that I wake up feeling like this. Ambition and drive are definitely two words that come to mind when describing myself, but after a long weekend of fun and sleeping in to then wake up early again on Monday, I am usually a little lot less than ambitious. Today, however was different.
I woke up just so excited and in anticipation of life. I have so many thoughts, plans, ideas, hopes, dreams, that I'm ready to put into action and it's an amazing feeling. There is a lot of hard work to be done first but I'm more than ready and willing. It's so easy for some people {myself included} to sometimes feel like life is just owed to us, and we don't really do anything to enhance it. We go through each day doing the same old things, being the same old person, with the same old attitude. Why not push yourself to do something different one day? Maybe do something to help someone else, something to help yourself, something to make a difference in your community, or even just in your home to start. It doesn't have to be anything big or anything that costs money. Sometimes the best gifts are FREE. Rack your brain and challenge yourself to do something different today. - K
