This week seems like a good week to start "Fave photo friday". I would explain it to you but I don't want to insult anyone, obviously you catch my drift by the name :)
This past weekend I had SUCH a fun time taking photos for Kenzie's 5th birthday. She is having a cowgirl/butterfly themed party and she came with the cutest outfits! These were the first photos Kenzie has had done since she was a newborn! Crazy huh?! But all you moms out there know how hectic life gets and how quickly it passes when you have a little one. I love the way this shoot turned out, here is my favorite...
I'm obsessed with her freckles! Think she gets them from me?? Lol LOVE HER! - K

{Brittani & Ryan - The Proposal}
Can I just start out by saying that I am OBSESSED with this proposal. Not only because the bride-to-be has been my best friend since 6th grade but because it's the second cutest most thoughful proposal I've ever seen (Kyle's was #1 hehe)! I give you an A+ RyRy!
Let's start with some background info, here is Brittani's Facebook status the day of the proposal.....keep in mind she had NO idea that day that she would become engaged:
13 months of paramedic school, 6 months of fire hiring process, 2 months of fire academy, and 10 months of fire probation later and the hard part is finally over! I'm so proud, excited, and lucky to have a hard-working man, but even more glad I get my boyfriend back!! :)
Needless to say, this day has been a long time coming for these two and I don't know ANY couple who deserves this more than they do. Despite everything they have been through they have never lost site of their future together.
On 2.25.12 Ryan asked Brittani to be his wife....

Birthday Borrangoes!
21 years ago today, my best friend was born! I would like to thank his
mom and dad for giving him to the world, because he is amazing! Here he
is, in all his glory....
We have been through ALOT together and I can't wait to spend the next 21 years with him! To celebrate his birth I made him dinner last night and in my family we have a tradition for birthdays. My dad makes us Birthday Borrangoes and they are the most delicious things you will ever eat.
I am slightly hesitant in sharing this recipe because I know the next time I go to the store all of the ingredients will be sold out, buttttt I can no longer deprive the world of making their own Birthday Borrangoes.

DIY Moss Initial Wreath
If you are as addicted to Pinterest as I am I can GUARANTEE you've seen these super cute moss initial wreaths! Well I wanted one but I most def did not want to spend $20-$50 to let someone else make it for me when I knew full well that I could make it myself and have fun doing it...and then I could teach all of you how to make it too!
Supplies:
I hope you love it as much as I do! It's perfect for Springtime if you aren't obsessed with egg decorations like some people. I mean, I like Easter eggs, but this is more my style;) -K
Supplies:
- All purpose moss mat {Joann's, $16 but I had a 40% off coupon}
- Burlap {Joann's, $9 plus 10% coupon}
- Cardboard letter {Joann's about $3}
- Hot glue gun
To do:
- Lay out the moss and cut to the size of the letter
- Simply hot glue the moss to the letter as neatly as
mossiblepossible (that was a legitimate typo but it made me LOL!) - Cut the burlap and create a cute bow at the top of your letter
- Add flowers if desired (I had some left from my wedding so I threw them on there (got them from Michaels)
I hope you love it as much as I do! It's perfect for Springtime if you aren't obsessed with egg decorations like some people. I mean, I like Easter eggs, but this is more my style;) -K
